solidarity-based growth, collaboration, and leadership.

Intergenerational possibilities

In addition to receiving a $1,000 grant, year-long mentorship guidance to build their own social justice project, and exclusive in-person opportunities, our Fellows participate in an online Power-Building Curriculum, attending twice-a-month “community sessions/lessons” on Zoom to learn about the various aspects of youth leadership, civics, essential skills, community organizing, and social justice frameworks. These lessons are then carried over into the Fellow’s work, both independently on their projects and reflected in the in-person engagements curated specifically for our Fellows throughout the year.

This is made possible through a forever-growing collaboration between grassroots organizations, leaders, and professionals across California, working together to deliver valuable experiences both online and offline to our cohorts. We call on intergenerational mentors to provide their perspective, stories, and learned lessons, diversifying the set of lenses our youth view change-making.
